Did the Russian “good guy” ever think that nuking the “bad guys” and thousands of innocents could have been blamed on the USA? How about the computer genius who never thought that his equipment had a tracker inside. Then there’s the reprise of the duplicitous woman. And, letting the bad CIA guy go probably ensures he’s an antagonist in the next book. By co-opting writing, Berry made Daniels a pale, paper-thin version of Cotton Malone.
