Great cliff-hanger! It stops right at the point of no return. I can't wait to read the next book. Quite a dark book. I think avid fans of the 40k omniverse yearn to hear about the glorious days before the Warmasters's treason. This book reveals just enough of those marvels to whet the reader's appetite and then dashes them against the traitor's anvil making the reader yearn for the Emperor or his loyal Astartes to put a stop to the madness.

Great book!!! Action packed. Love it!! I would recommend the Horus Hersey Series to anyone. Start with Horus Rising by Dan Abnett then get this book.
