Ambushed in the Alps

Another hilarious adventure with Angel and Sidney! They are trying to prove themselves to her mom so that they can be official PIs. They find themselves on two missions – one to solve a one to babysit a 16-year-old.They try to figure out their case to solve as they travel on their way to the teen. There is one mishap after another on their way to get to the teen. Once they get to the chalet, they find themselves in a snowstorm where they are stranded, also there is no way to communicate with anyone outside of the chalet. As one dead body after another begins to be discovered, Angel is suspicious of everyone- including those on her team. This is a fantastic mystery to try and solve. Lots of twists and turns! Cannot wait for the next one especially since Angel has a choice to make at the end of this book.

What a fun mystery with Angel and Sidney trying to become PI’s! Running around the Swiss Alps and finding dead bodies. This book moved very fast and was a lot of fun to read. This is the second book with Angel and Sidney and I think even better then the first book which I loved! Looking forward to the next book in the series!

You can’t go wrong with Zara’s books! She’s done it again, how her mind comes up with these characters I’ll never know. Angel and Sidney finally get their chance to show they what it takes to be in the Omega Group. They are gearing up for their first assignment when good ole Mom changes their plans and gives them another assignment…. as “babysitter” to a sweet (NOT) teenager. What is it with the Doyle girls and dead bodies? Follow Angel and Sidney on another crazy adventure! Do they have what it takes to become part of the Omega Group? Will Angel and Luc admit their attraction! Will Angel and her mother finally find a connection! Can they escape before the mountain goes BOOM?

Unputdownable! Angel is as she would say a semi reformed thief, a wannabe PI and current clerk in a yarn shop in the French Riviera. She has the job due to her mother an ex adult film star and current head of the Omega Group a super secret international PI firm. Angel really wants to be an employee there, her mother wants her safe aka out of the way. The yarn shop along with a couple others act as fronts for the secretive Omega Group. Maurice her boss at the shop takes out his frustrations with her mother and former step father Jerry aka the brains behind Omega on her. He used to be a PI at the firm but a mission went awry and they benched him. One night at a meeting of the yarniacs Luc one of Angel’s mother’s investigators offers her and her friend Sidney a job. The town’s seaside psychic is sure her deceased husband is really alive and she hires Angel and Sidney to find him. Just as they’re making headway Angel’s mother decides to give them an agency case even though she’s been putting off training and hiring them. What is supposed to me an easy job watching a teen in a Swiss Chalet turns into a convoluted mess of murder, mayhem and mystery. Bodies are dropping, the house is cut off, it’s snowpocalypse and the injured are mounting up. Angel and Sidney are going to need everything they have and hope it’s enough to survive. Awesome, couldn’t put it down, action packed and did I mention awesome?!! Love the twists and turns, the world building is superb and the characters are a quirky bunch who make this story absolutely fun to read and impossible to put down! A must read!
