A great side story that occurs within the SW universe. Worth the read. Nicely paced. Great characters. Interesting plots. Climactic conclusion will leaving wishing the ride wasn’t over. Would recommend for Star Wars fans looking for more SW entertainment. Not sure I would recommend to someone unfamiliar with SW. 8/10 Would recommend to anyone looking to feed their SW addiction.

I would have to say that this is my favorite Star Wars novel and probably my favorite book, in general. Now I look forward to every book by Claudia Gray in this franchise.

I’m in awe of how good this book is. I’ve never read any Star Wars books because of how convoluted they are in the sense of this is Canon or not, and now Disney this and Disney that. I could not put this book down. To say it is elegantly written would be a crime. The characters are so well developed, and the emotion flies right off of the pages into the reader's psyche. It’s engrossing. Read this book rather, you are a Star Wars fan or not.

I really liked it! I’ve loved Star Wars since I was 7. Wayyy better than I expected, not for young kids, it’s fine for teens (I think because that is when I read it). You can really feel the struggles of these characters. The characters were deep and had each their own beliefs and ideals, they had hard times but overcame them. So overall a great book. Totally recommend it...

I was blown away by this novel if for no other reason because it was a parallel story to the original trilogy (Ep 4-6). This story perfectly followed those events but from an entirely different perspective. It is a quick read and will fully take you back to those original feelings that make Star Wars so endearing.
