Their love was strong and never faded away. They had one son, named Robert “Pen” Browning, who actually published the book with their letters.
Robert and Elizabeth have exchanged 585 letters, starting on January 10, 1845 and ending one week after their marriage, when Elizabeth wrote the last letter on September 18, 1846.
