I received this book for review from the publisher and the author. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. This was the perfect story to start off this series but I think it would be great to read this one on Christmas Eve – a great reminder of the true meaning of the holiday. With the holidays adding stress to our already hectic lives why not take an hour just for yourself and read this great novella. By the time you finish reading, you’ll get rid of the tissues and have a smile on your face. And your stress will disappear for a little while. This is a must read. As you get closer to Christmas and you’re out shopping and having a hard time trying to figure out what to get for the person who has everything, why not make a donation. If you have a hospice in your area why not make a donation in the name of that person. This way you are helping someone with a great gift. I know personally what a great job the people at hospice are. Without them, my mother would not have been able to be home at that time in her life.

I love Christmas stories! This story is about Mitch and Ellie. Mitch is a PR executive, whose boss wants him to fill in for him and be Santa Claus at a children's hospice. Ellie is playing the part of "Chief Elf", filling in for her godmother who is recuperating from hip surgery. Read this short story as these two get better acquainted while being stuck together in a snowstorm. This is a sweet romance that really tugs on the heart strings. Want to get more into the Christmas spirit? Read this book!
