    This wonderful series ends with Zach Dare’s story, the last single sibling has everything he wants or does he? When his past enters his bar he plans to walk away, but when he finds out Hadley situation he does the opposite. Will he let the past be and move forward to help her? One click to find out in this second chance romance that did not disappoint. I love the chemistry between the characters and the drama that leads to lots of yummy heat level and an ending with HEA.

    Just One Taste is the 9th book in the Kingston Family Series but, it can be read as a standalone. Zach and Hadley’s second chance romance was slightly angsty, sexy, sassy, with a few plot twist that kept the pages turning. Little did Hadley know that the one person she hurt all those years ago would be the only person to help her now. After her family had put her yet once again in a dangerous position she seeks out Zach’s help. With walls up, fighting for control and some sense of normalcy we see both Zach and Hadley struggle with their past, and now their current feelings. Their attraction, push, pull is evident, but is it enough to forgive and forget. Hadley is fiercely independent, and Zach wants to show her what they could be. This story was full of heartbreak, hope, love, acceptance, and forgiveness. I loved seeing Zach’s protective, loving side for his loved ones especially Hadley. Loved the family banter and getting updates on the rest of the clan. Great read

Hadley entered witness protection at age sixteen with her dad, step mom and baby sister, leaving New York, her friends, and her boyfriend Zach without an explanation or any future contact. Unfortunately her father doesn’t know how to stay out of trouble and Hadley has to take her now thirteen year old sister on the run from some awful men. Seeing a magazine article on the Dare family, which featured Zach finding and helping people, Hadley made a hasty decision to go to him for help. Zach is involved in several businesses and puts his computer skills to work for good these days. After Hadley left without a word in high school, he attempted to hack his way into some government data bases. Luckily he was given a chance to develop programs against hackers instead of going to jail. He never found Hadley, and never expected to have her walk into his bar asking for help. Both are cautious and unsure, but Zach can’t turn Hadley away. The chemistry between them has only gotten hotter and neither can deny their mutual desire. Both attempt to protect their hearts.     Sometimes you meet that one person and when you lose them you figure you will live on. Hadley had to leave Zach due to her father’s activities. When trouble surfaces again and she is forced to run with her sister Dani running to Zach for help might be the only smart thing for her to do.     I knew Zach's book would be good, but I did not expect it to be this good. This is a second chance romance. Zach and Hadley were supposed to go to his Senior Prom on the night she was forced in to Witness Protection. At 16, you know nothing about the real world, so you believe what you are told. So when she was told to not contact anyone from her old life, she took it to heart. But now history is about to repeat itself and she needs Zach's help to keep her and her sister safe. Will Zach be willing to help her after she walked out on him without any communication? And once the threat to her is removed, will she stay with Zach or go back to her WitSec life? So many question, but you need to read for the answers.

    Second chance romances can be a hit or miss. This one is a hit! Zach had every right to be hurt and angry when he thought that Mia (now Hadley) stood him up for their prom date and left without a word. Little did he know that she had a valid reason and no control of how she left him. But, now she has come to him for help and, eventually, so much more. This was an easy read and fitting for the last Dare sibling. Now, will Remy and Raven have the next adventure in finding each other?

    I love 2nd chance romance and adored Just One Tease. Carly Phillips checked all of the boxes for me with Zach and Hadley and their 2nd chance at getting there happily ever after. Will Zach get over his anger, will he be able to put the past behind them and keep Hadley and her sister safe, will she decide to stay or does she break his heart?
