This is a story about a bunch of kids who are relatively poor, along the lines of Oliver Twist but sweeter. After his wife dies, their father has (unwittingly) neglected his children and (probably) his work, which leaves the family in a desperate situation. The story is told by the children who have many adventures as they try to restore their family fortunes. This is one of those books that you can take your time reading because the author is in no particular hurry to get anywhere, but spends a lot of time just giving you a peek into what their lives must’ve been like.

This is a great book. It is well written and is a story of adventure. The only reason anyone wouldnt understand it is because they dont want to

It's better than many books I read, but when it says on the cover it is called "The Story of the Treasure Seekers" I got the impression they were looking for treasure or something. But it ends up meaning that they are trying make money off of odd things. But I would still recommend it, and I think it is OK.
