This book has a very good writing style and tells you the things you need to know.
  • Good Political Teaching Reference; Original Print is a Tough Read

I bought this book while I was deployed to Iraq, and ultimately it helped me my second year of deployment as a Contractor Inspector during the Embezzlement scandals of 2005-2008, but I bought it in the original “Old English,” as it was written in the 16th Century. Should’ve bought a more modem edition.
  • Weak translation of a not so great “great book”

The book is one of political advice to the Medici family. It advocates ruthlessness and the ends justify the means. Most of the time one has to be familiar with the politics of sixteenth century Italy to follow along. The translation is very pompous and off putting. I read this in high school and thought it might be a better read with several more decades of life experience. It wasn’t. This translation with its notes didn’t help either. I strongly recommend the art of war over the prince.

All of the spacing is way off for the text of the book. There are random new lines throughout.

An interesting book ugh great insights and though provoking examples of history and knowledge. Definitely worth the read to learn not only about history, but also how to act in business.
