The Perfumed Garden of the Shaykh Nafzawi is a sex manual and work of erotic literature by Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Nefzawi, translated here by Richard Francis Burton. Originally written sometime in the fifteenth century, it was compiled at the request of the ruler of Tunis, Abu Faris. The book discusses the attractive qualities men and women should have, advice on sexual technique and sexual health, and how to remedy sexual problems.
