An unexpected but fitting close to an epic story. Or is it?
Ending sucked

The book was 95% great. But when honors husband just magically comes back too life it totally ruined the whole book. I’m sick of miracles happening to make the main character feel better. When he dies and she was so upset it should’ve stayed that way. I don’t want a book with warm and fuzzies. I want realism. I know it’s a science fiction but that’s taking it too far and it literally ruined the book and the series for me. Even though it was pretty much a great book I think I’m done with honor. She needs to die. Then I’d be back in. Or at least make her cheat of a husband die. Then it would be a good book. Writer is looking his touch. Very sad.
Great!!!

A satisfying conclusion to a great story arc. A great addition to a wonderful series.

Can David Weber do anything wrong? As a fan of everything he’s ever written I can honestly say I have never anticipated or enjoyed any tale more than Honor’s journeys.
This may be the capstone of Honor’s stories and if so is a stunning triumph of a writer’s art and an audience’s gloriously fulfilled expectations. You’ll find no real spoilers here, just an emphatic endorsement and one fan’s heartfelt thanks for an unimaginably great adventure.
