A coming of age drama, revealing myriad ancient secrets as well as exposing a bigoted, alien political system. At times difficult to follow, maybe worth a second read to catch all the subtleties that add to solving some of the mysteries.

Didn’t grab me at first. Had to push to stay with it. But soon I became captivated.

Very creative world building, with interesting characters and plot. Can't wait to start the next book in the series.

I enjoyed reading this book. It has lots of action, interesting characters and some romance. Recommended.
