This book has it all, the good guys & the bad guys, dreams filled and unfulfilled and those yet to come.

I enjoyed this book as a story I could relate to as my ancestors were from Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. My grandfather was a saloon owner. My Mother’s cousins were cowboys. My family came to CA in the early 1920’s. I am going to be 80 next week and wish I had wrote the stories my mother told me. Thank you for a good story.

At times it kept me at the edge of my seat. Very sweet read.

The grammar issue isn't due to period language either. It's just a case of very bad editing. No wonder the book is free.

This is a very entertaining book that I just finished reading. I enjoyed the characters and it was a page turner with lots of exciting twists.
