Hard for me to put down

I was very moved by this story. Tori seemed very self-centered except when it came to caring for her friend. This included hating her friend's brother Miles. Her life begins a downward spiral, and Miles feels compelled to help her out. Miles was a typical I-know-what-is-best-for Tori who vowed to be independent and begin to rely on herself. Misunderstandings abounded and had me in tears and feeling a need to smack each upside the head. I loved the chemistry between the two as the story progressed. I highly recommend this book.
I received a copy of this story through Netgalley, and this is my unsolicited review.

This is the icing on the Ethan Frost cake. I loved it.
Tori is Chloe's best friend, Chloe now married and has a child with Ethan. Miles is Chloe's brother.
Tori is in San Diego, now out of college and trying to get her self together. Get a good job, no more parties and drinking. Tone down the wild child image that she's had for so long. She's doing ok.
One night in a blink changes that and leaves Tori without a thing except a few pieces of clothing and the money she grabbed from her drawer. Her father who is and has always been a major a** and makes no bones about how he feels about Tori, disowns her. Meaning she has no home, no phone, nothing in her condo, not even a pair of shoes. She flees to Ethan and Chloe's house, since they've moved to San Fran. What Tori doesn't know is that Miles is living there. He's working for Ethan on a project. Miles is brilliant, but he's a bit scatter brained and focused. He and Chloe have made amends for his part the family fiasco, but Tori the overprotective friend has been brutal to him every time they see each other. Tori has a razor sharp tongue and she's quick and uses it every chance she gets on Miles.
Miles was up all night that night so he sees the new break about Tori and this leaked video. So he sets about removing them from the internet. What he doesn't expect is for Tori to show up, she's got her own key and the code to the house. When she sees him she's in attack mode and he attacks right back. She doesn't tell him what's happened, she just needs to crash there for a few days. Miles is already angry about what's happened and the banter between these two. Ouch!
But peace is made; they're civil and as soon as they burn up the sheets the relationship shifts. It's like the tilt-a-whirl ride at the fair! Wow!
Yes they have their ups and downs and in and outs and everything in between. Meanwhile Tori is still trying to get a handle on herself and her situation. Miles is just trying to help.
This story played out so well, Miles bugged the beans out of me in the Ethan Frost books, like nails on a chalkboard, but this book we get to see him up close and personal and what makes him tick. How he really feels about his sister and the reasons he's so protective of Tori. Then we get to see Tori also, come full circle. I loved the way these two evolved, the banter between them, the honesty and the hurt as well. This is a great book. A good nightcap for the Frost books. I'm in for a 4.7, well deserved Tracey.

Loved, loved, loved!! Miles Girard is my new favorite nerdy bbf! Miles is usually glued to his computer screen working on his next great invention. Then Tori Reed lands in his world and nothing will ever be the same. Sure she hates him and blames him for part of the heartache suffered by his sister Chloe (Tori's best friend) but right now she needs him. After being disowned and having her over privileged world turned up side down, Tori doesn't have many places to turn. Staying at Chloe's San Diego home until she figures out her life seems like a great plan. Until she realizes Miles Girard, Chloe's brother, is already staying there. They both soon discover that they don't know each other as well as they thought they did and a spark of attraction is ignited. Will they be able to walk away without getting burned??
Put this one on the must read list. I highly recommend it.
Great addition to the Ethan Frost series!

I am a huge Ethan Frost fan and was so excited to be getting another book...it didn't matter that Ethan was only in it a little, it was still awesome. Flawed is about Chloe's best friend, Tori Reed and Chloe's brother Miles Girard. These two can't stand each other, but sometimes that makes for the most fun. Tori is mad Miles accepted the "hush" money his parents received to cover up Chloe's rape from years ago to start his inventions to make money for the family business. Miles didn't realize that is where that money came from. He was too preoccupied in his own little world, being the really smart, really nerd tech geek! (one of my favorites!!!!)
For the past year, Tori and Miles have had a love/hate relationship but what neither of them realize is that they both have attractions to each other. These two run into each other at a mutual friend's engagement party and really heat up the dance floor, not by Tori's choice! Such a great scene! Just before Tori leaves the party she runs into her ex and has a rather unfortunate experience. What she doesn't realize is that the next morning her world as she knows it is going to implode.
Imagine who comes to her rescue, but Miles. What starts out as just a guy helping a girl when she is down, quickly evolves into something more meaningful. If you love a sassy mouthed female and a sexy, techie geek, read this book! You get a really good look into what makes each of these characters be the person that they really are. I just adore Miles....A LOT! Tori was always the "fun" friend but you really get a different look at her life in the story...it will really pull at your heartstrings.
Overall, I loved this book, loved the characters and really enjoyed Miles and Tori's journey to their happy ending!

By Tome Tender
Tori and Miles have had a agonistic relationship for years. Out of spite, Tori’s ex / action movie star posts a sex tape of him and Tori online and it goes viral. Her father cuts Tori off and leaves her to her homeless, shoeless and at the mercy of the paparazzi. This send Tori running to Chloe’s home. Chloe is away at school but her brother Miles is in residence. When the clips are down, Tori is shocked to discover just who has her back.
It is a story about the fine line between love, hate and sometimes the passion that runs just under the surface.
I love Wolff's ability to bring those extremely steamy romance scenes to life; especially balancing the steam to story ratio. FLAWED leaned a little heavier on the steam then story. Great romance, strong characters and fabulous at bringing that character connection, FLAWED can surely warm up any cold winter night.
I received this ARC copy of Flawed from Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept in exchanged for a honest review.
