Bridgerton characters are beautifully written

While I love the character development and relationships of the Bridgerton family, I didn’t feel Quinn was truly motivated to give Eloise the story she deserved. After turning down so many offers of marriage, and then having her marry a seemingly angry, distant, and unapproachable man (with difficult children) after one week? Society rules (and brothers) be damned. In reality this would have most likely gone another way. Quinn should have given us more for (especially) Eloise.

The particular Bridgerton story was not as captivating as the others I have read. It felt rushed.

I absolutely adore this book! It wasn’t like the others before hand, but it was not a standalone by no means.
Eloise is the best bridgerton.

Eloise Bridgerton is my favorite bridgerton. I loved this book, the relationship and chemistry between her and Phillip. I am not a huge fan of the whole ‘children storyline,’ but it did not ruin the book for me. 10/10 another bridgerton book to add to my collection.

I love how the story is told in the country away from the ton, whistle down, and most of Eloise’s family. It truly was all about the couple. I love that the male character was more rugged, less formal. A pleasant change of pace. And of course Julia Quinn kept it spicy! 🔥
Favorite one in the series

The most unexpected match for Eloise, and she is truly even more a delight as a wife.

Their love story was one of her best. The twins are so much fun. The story is really well crafted and I love how they took such a minor character of his first wife and turned her into a much more detailed character in the tv show. I can’t wait for them to cover this book, hopefully they will put off Benedict a little longer and do this book next.
