I read this straight through, but mainly to find out how it ended. Scenes were drawn out too long, and like Melanie, I just wanted to leave early. And the last sentence of the book was confusing, at least to me.

What a great fast paced read! As always, Ruth wrote another great thriller, mystery!

Decent mystery. I really enjoyed the middle but I found the resolution a bit lacking. I’m not sure what I was expecting but it didn’t have enough of a twist as I’d hoped. Either way, not a bad read. I can see how it was Ruth Ware’s debut. Would recommend to thriller and mystery fans!

Juvenile characters and plot, pretty predictable too. No one is likable, there’s no one to root for in this book of arrested development.

Another great thriller from Ruth Ware

The story is not about a woman in the Cabin. It dragged in the begging, and I almost quit reading. The plot picked up with a lot of gusto. I couldn’t stop reading! I definitely recommend it as it is well written with suspense until the end.

Definitely sour and kept the pages turning. At the end I could see all the effort that went into building tension. I do have to agree with some other reviews though that the resolution took a long time and the ending wasn’t too surprising for me. I also felt like the plot didn’t thicken until about page 250 by that point I was finishing the book because I was closer to the end than the beginning.

This book was a page turner definitely. However, I found the ending disappointing. I also felt mislead by the reviewers.

This was certainly a total page turner. Good plot line, kept me on the edge of my seat and wanted to get to the end of the book. Can’t wait to read more books by Ruth Ware!!

I read the reviews before I bought the book and a few of them said they had it figured out in the first chapter. I wasn’t sure about it until the end!! All my guesses ebbed and flowed throughout the whole book. I think everyone will enjoy this book and I’m definitely going to read some others by this author!! The writing was great!!
