Great for a lore fan and the start for a series of the journey to halo infinite

Halo the deceive novel. Features characters from Onyx and Glasslands and and pretty scary Forerunner AI.

I liked how the book explained things and had a good plot twist as well as action.

Not worth the money

Unlike some media in the halo universe, this story holds to the tone and feel of the other stories well regarded in the franchise such as the fall of reach, but with a detective story throw in. It respects previous canon and doesn't retcon thing like in the kilo-5 trilogy. A very good read and a worthy addition to the halo universe
