I think the author saved the best couple for last. Raj and Jacob's story is so tragic and to see them accomplish the ultimate take down and finally get their happily ever after was a beautiful thing to see. This whole series unfortunately represents something very real in the world today and I can only hope there are real life GEM warriors out there saving the many children who are abducted daily.

Worthy of ALL THE STARS! This is book 3 in the GEM series and the spectacular conclusion I’ve been anxiously waiting for! This author definitely left the best for last! I’ve been hooked with this series and these characters since book 1, and finally we have Onyx story and the revelation to all the secrets! The plot development of solving these twisted mysterious crimes as well as Onyx’s story and her love interest had me hooked! I was glued to the pages to find out what was going to happen next and finally learn whodunnit! Fast paced, and suspenseful this read was totally enthralling! Actioned packed, with a healthy dose of steamy passion, this book was hands down unputdownable! Mature, strong, no nonsense older everyday folk characters that are truly extraordinary and never disappoint in how likable and relatable they are! This read flawlessly incorporated romance between complete opposites with exciting crime solving skills. I’m never disappointed by this author’s magical ability to create flawless characters of very flawed people. This juicy mystery kept me guessing until the end. I’m sorry this series came to an end but I cannot wait to see what’s next in this authors creative arsenal!

Great ending to this series. So many twists and turns. I don’t want to give anything away. Onyx finally gets her hea in a most unexpected way. Great to see everyone again and the dynamics in the group leads to a great read.
