Great Book!

Funny and heartwarming at the same time.

The characters continue to delight. The plot is unrealistic, of course, but who cares. The characters are dealing with all the major topics of aging.

Deeper than the previous three in the series and appropriately so. Osman deals gently with the scourge of dementia.

I’ve read the previous three books in the series. Enjoyed each but I truly loved this one. Goes a little deeper into love, life and death (gives you a lot to chew on if you want) with all the fun and wit and characters of the first three books.

Just a delight! These folks continue to harvest full yields of good trouble. They are the relatives I never had. Cheers to you all!

Gosh, these Osman books are wonderful! Tremendously funny, sassily smart, and much too short.

As with the other three previous novels in this delightful series, I fell completely in love with the story, the plot lines, the characters, and the twists and turns. I especially have enjoyed the dialogue between the characters and Joyce’s diary entries, as well as her ability to step up in place of Elizabeth, make an ingenious plan, and direct everyone to follow through. I want to live in Cooper’s Chase someday!

I do have a complaint for Mr. Osman and that is that he has hooked me with this series just as surely as I would be hooked if indulging in one of the drugs around which his latest delight is built. And like an addict I crave a fix on a regular basis. I know I have to wait on the next club adventure, but please, Mr. Osman, please do hurry!
