I love how this book is written, open and honest. Joe was no saint but he did not deserve being thrown under the bus like he was.

An honest look at Joe Pa and very helpful to me as a PSU alum who has been at a loss to understand just how he became the lightning rod to all the hate and anger against the University.

This book confirms what I already know, Joe Pa was accepted with open arms into heaven. Probably has a full football squad by now. Joe will live forever in so many minds.

I felt like got to peak into Joe's life. The book helps you understand the timing of events. I also read the book "Letters to Joe" which I loved. I read that before the scandal. This book reveals the many facets that made up Joe's bigger than life personna. The author helps bring the real Joe into focus. Many of my questions were answered.

Superb read. Joe's wish was fulfilled, 'Write the truth' Captures what fellow alumni already knew. We are Penn State. We are a community of diverse individuals that are not just about football, we are a proud community of individuals trying to make the world a better place.

I, like many who love and respect Joe Paterno, needed answers, understanding, and closure as to the events of this past year. This book helps to define Joe Paterno's roll and his understanding in these recent, horrible, tragic events. This book also tells of a wonderful and very rewarding life that ended like a Greek tragedy. I believe this book will serve as a valuable tool when historians look back and study these times.
