Loved the story !!

Christopher (Cristobal) Perez, poured his heart and love for Selena in this book. This book made me feel like I was inside their story, like an audience, and made me feel a roller coaster of emotions. It was well written, although I don’t tend to see celebrities as beings from another planet, learning about Selena’s character outside the public eye, made me realize that she was just a young girl with big dreams like any twenty three year old girl. She accomplished so much professionally, but personally she barely got a taste of her womanhood and marriage life. She is deeply missed and like many, I often wonder… what could’ve been?.

I am absolutely astonished by how great this book was, I am so thankful to get to see a more personal side from the man who was not blood but absolutely loved Selena and got to get to know her so well and it was very clear from her music just how much she loved him as well. My heart is with all of Selena’s loved ones.

Such an amazing book it felt as if I was there.

This book made me laugh, smile and cry. After so many years Selena still makes an impact on each and every generation. I was born in 04 but even then Selena is my favorite girl to do it. I learned of her through my people. What Chris and Selena had is so beautiful. Selena is an inspiration. Thank you Chris for this amazing book.

This book is so lovely, you can see how much Chris truly loves Selena and still cherishes those one on one moments together it’s nice to get an insight of her true life… crying on the train right now.

It is just such a great book.
