Gripping tale that sweeps you along from beginning to end. I will look for more from this author.

I haven't read any science fiction in years. I loved this novel for the characters development. You love them, hate them, root for them. Extremely well written and satisfying.
Great mix of hard science fiction and characterization

The set of vignettes that the author weaves together engages you and keeps you turning pages until way past when you should put it down and go to bed.
Nice Read

I like the way the book was laid out as a collection of short stories. Although I generally like more explanation of how advanced tech works I found the stories interesting enough to keep me from caring about exactly what kind of power source could possibly deliver enough energy to run the military robots.
I actually finished this one

I have to say that I have never finished a book. I've read and finished many of technical books, IBM Redbooks. I first came across Robogenesis when I was away on business, and stopped by a Barnes and Nobles. I was immediately hooked, only to realize that I was reading the sequel. I quickly found an employee to request a search for Robopocalypse - sold out. A few hours later, I'm back at the hotel room and downloaded this book onto my hand iPad.
Since reading the first chapter, I knew I had to finish this book. The descriptions that the author used in this book made it feel real. Almost every chapter gave me goosebumps and talking to myself. I would've liked more dialog between Archo's and 9 Oh Two about its origins, but great book all the way!
Script treatment?

This is not so much a novel as it is a script treatment. Poorly written underdeveloped characters, a disjointed narrative structure that doesn't hold up to logic, and an unsatisfying conclusion. I seriously think this is just bait for a Hollywood adaptation. Read some Asimov instead.
Amateur writing

The premise of the book is attractive, but the style is a turn-off. Short, disjointed chapters make up the book, which prevent a flow from developing. However, it is the conclusion at the end of each chapter that is really irritating. Quite simply, it is difficult to believe that the author has a Ph.D., not because of the technical content, but because of the elementary overall style. Sorry.
Decent

Some good ideas but you get the feeling the book could have been written better by someone else. Still a decent book that I managed to finish.
Robopocalypse

A real page turner but the end felt anticlimactic hence 4 out of 5 stars.
It had me right from the beginning

It's the exact kind of storyline I love in a book. I hope there's a second.
