  • I'm fed up, too!

I'm fed up with conservatives like Perry telling me what I can and cannot do in the privacy of my bedroom, trying to control my uterus, telling me what religion I have to practice and trying to influence what my child will be taught in school. Instead of writing a book, Perry should be reading the Constitution of the United States!

Contrary to other reviews, this book does not go farther. Too bad he doesn't mention John Edwards or Anthony Weiner or Charlie Rengle or so many of the other parasites that, for some unknown reason, keep getting reelected! How about mentioning some of the many, many perks that our elected officials gave themselves without asking the people if it was ok? Ask why so many of the recent waivers of Obamacare have been granted to companies in Nancy Pelosi
  • Governor Perry - Simply Brilliant

I am a native Texan, served in the USAF for 30+ years, and I love the US Constitution. This book demonstrates with clarity what is wrong with our country today and clearly articulates what needs to be done to fix it. I only hope that others will take Governor Perry's roadmap to heart and that this book will become the catalyst for change. This book brought home the reasons Texas prospers through good times and bad because our Governor is not afraid to make a hard choice or stand up to the D.C. crowd. It also gave me a lot of insights into why we are fairings so well even now. Based on this book, I am sending letters to my Congressman and Senators and demand that they jump on board with Governor Perry's recommendations or they can be assured my money and my vote will go to those with the courage to change the D.C. parasitic. Staying the course should no longer be an option because our Cyrene road ahead is a federal government that will most certainly self-implode, it is simply a question of when. At last, here are some specific things we can do to avoid what is a certain collapse of our way of life. Finally, this book was very well written, a compelling read - it was very hard to put this book down because it was so direct and insightful. J B M North Richland Hills, TX

This book is a biased work trying to stir up as much controversy as possible. Blunt opinions and random facts are put together to come up with outrages conclusions. I like small government and freedom but his book doesn't help anything but separate Americans by exaggerating and imagining our differences.

To the "gentlemen" who ranted about this book. Maybe you should try to read a book Before you comment. You are probably some youngster who has been given everything but will not give anything. You are part of the problem Not the solution.

Book reviews should talk about the book- not be a soapbox for people to spout their opinions on the author & other "right wingers" he doesn't like / agree with. Great book! Would recommend it to anyone.
