I really feel for Valerius. As a Roman Dark-Hunter he is reviled by his Dark-Hunter brethren. He was even shafted when Artemis made him a Dark-Hunter. When he meets Tabitha he is not quite sure what to think of her. She is unlike anyone that he has met before. Tabitha knows that Valerius is the sworn enemy of her brother in law, but there is something that calls out to her empathetic abilities from him. When a previous foe returns will they be able to defeat him and save everyone they hold dear? There are some very pivotal moments in this book that impact the lives of many of the characters we have come to love. Certain scenes were heart wrenching and have far reaching consequences. I love this series, and can’t wait for more.

Love the action and suspense. Ms Kenyon at her best. Enjoyed the more subdue sex scenes. Only wish the epilogue was better.

For those of I who are curious about how the character nick began his dark hunter start. This book has many twists and keeps u in the moment, of the amazing dark-hunter series.

Great read, got my attention.
