Enjoyed every chapter!

I think this is the best book C.J. Box has written.

CJ Box does not fail to deliver another great story that is filled with twists and turns. As in most Box novels there are lessons in greed, morality and love. This story kept me reading late into the night, and I was sorry when the story came to its conclusion. I wanted to keep on reading and hear more about the characters. You won't be disappointed!

This was the first C.J. Box book I’ve read—but it won’t be the last. I was immediately drawn into the story by vivid descriptions and excellent and sympathetic characters. The story was exciting and a real page-turner.

The story is told well, and I deduct stars for an unsatisfying conclusion.

It's good old characters, stories and scenery that make this book a rip roaring read. Stayed up till past midnight to see how our aging hero fares, and was not disappointed by the ensuing action. Although some of the details and decisions made by the good guys weren't the brightest, they were plausible and in keeping with their personalities. Try this yarn for a satisfying adventure.
