I love how she took the biblical writings and stories of angels and the concept of vampires and merged them into a realistic society! I started reading these novels in high school and own the entire series now! Worth the read!

I enjoyed this book as a fifth grader, but reading it now it just seems immature, materialistic, and plain dumb. There are too many stereotypes and misconceptions. All and all it is a sloppily conceived book and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Everyone has a dumb name, it is very gross, the characters are sooooo shallow and the Mimi girl is extremely cliché. All the characters are supremely privileged and there is no representation of minorities. There is also so many stereotypes. The grammar is very bad , and it is quite inappropriate.

OMG! I have read 3 books out of 5-- and I have fallen in love with the series. If you love vampires, drama, romance, anything awesome, this is the book for you :) I would DEF recomend this book

It is fun to read and has mystery added to boot as well as some romance. I've already begun reading other books in the series.

I absolutely love the blue blood series I've read them all and I'm sad, there needs to be much more books!!! This author is a great writer,all of my friends and I just love to read them! If you love gossip girl and twilight then this is deff the series for you!!

I have read four of the five books in the blue bloods series and have loved them all. The ones I have read are blue bloods, masquerade, revelations and the van Allen legacy. Melissa de la Cruz is a fantastic writer. All her books have kept me interested throughout the entire story. I really recommend the Blue Blood series.
