Please PLEASE! why did you stop? Web will the 3rd book be out?? It's been almost 2 years since the first one. Release then third book already!

My biggest complaint is the lack of interest this book inspires. Read this if you desire to find the perfect example of "slow". Also, the actual story is somewhat less then exciting. But for all that it for the most part is well written. The tendency to over explain with redundancy takes a bit away from the writing quality, but all in all she knows how to write, she just doesn't know how to tell a story. If that makes any sense :)

Great read, really enjoyed a book that didn't follow a norm of some evil tyrant to be vanquished. The character development was good, interactions seemed genuine and the predictability was low. Priced to high? Get over it people, it costs more for 1 ticket to go to the movies these days. Everyone takes their hits starting off, robin hobb will eventually demand the share her talent deserves if she isn't already.

Great writer and great story. I'm looking forward to the concluding book when it comes out.

The series is phenomenal, one of her best! Robin Hobb is a master story teller. The price of the book should not affect the rating!

Good book, but the price is too high, lower the price please!

Considering that I read both this one and the preceding free volume in this series, I don't consider the price to be exorbitant. Great story, good character development, and a nice escapist summer read. Hope the series ends as well as the Soldier Son one did.

This book was not worth the price.

This is way overpriced. While I enjoyed the first in the series as a trial read on my iPad - I simply refuse to pay this high price for a ebook. Get real on the pricing.

Great continuance to the Liveship-series. Can't wait on the next book.
