I was a bit disappointed in this final Essex Sisters book. Really loved Mayne's character throughout the series, and felt he really deserved better than this strange rushed story. Other than one passionate kiss with Josie...he had his eye on the French chick. Believe more time could have spent on them vs Grissie and Darlington.

Thank you for another entertaining story. Your books help fill my sleepless nights and help me forget when pain distracts my days. Some of your books I have read 2 or 3 times. Thankful for your talent. MD

This book is absolutely wonderful to read. At times I wanted to reach through the pages and punch characters in defense of others. Seriously, it is not easy to rile me so. I am so glad to have the opportunity to finish the Essex Sisters series. Thank you so much for continuing to write books that allow escape from the real world, into places where there are real, true heroes, and love that lasts forever.

What wonderful comedic instances to keep this cute love story going strong! I loved reading every moment of it. James is one of my Favs as she covers a variety of material to make this novel thorough and interesting. Great read!!!
