I really enjoyed this book. I love African American history and to have found a writer that includes it with romance is great. Thank you Ms. Beverly for your books. This is the third book I've read from you and I can now say that I am a FAN.

Awesome story! This book was one of the first Beverly Jenkins books I read and fell in love with it. Historical romances are my favorite type of books and Ms Jenkins is my favorite author. She informs us of great things African Americans achieve when they didn't really get recognition for it.

Excellent! I will read at least two more times! Beverly is extremely under rated, she by far the best author I have ever read. Read any of her historical novels, you will not be disappointed. You'll be hooked, but never disappointed!
