I've loved the Anita Blake series for years ever since I discovered it by accident. It was great to get an example of how LKH gets her ideas and show how two different people can have completely different perspectives on the same event...

Since the recent Anita Blake books have been more sexually geared, I found this one refreshing. Less focus on sex with multiple people and abjuring more suspense.

I am a huge fan of laurell both with the Anita Blake and Meredith Gentry series. I was not aware this was such a short book and even thought my ebook did not download correctly. It still falls in line with her other novels but I can't help feeling robbed. I wanted a lot more.

This feels like an anthology story. It is less than 200 pages and in my opinion not with the price charged. It is a compendium of many short Anita-client interviews -- oh, and lunch situations -- that seem to have no basis. Speaking of which, since when is flirting a good Anita storyline anyway? Isn't that pretty much part and parcel of being part of the Belle Morte line?
