Dead Until Dark is a vampire romance novel featuring a honest hard working young lady with mind reading abilities. The story is entertaining and provides multiple events to keep the reader or listener engaged. The characters are likable and relatable. This was a decent start to a series.

I was excited to start reading these new series of books hoping for some complicated and interesting plot. Unfortunately, I found dragging myself to finish the first book. I found it too bloody and dark. I finally managed to get to the end of it, but I am not looking forward to reading any more in this series. I moved on.

Just like the 1st season of true blood this sticks right with the story and is amazing.

I watched the tv series first and this book is just like season 1 with a couple differences. I'm looking forward to the next book.

I love True Blood so I naturally was very interested in the books. After reading Dead Until Dark, I can only hope the other books are just as entertaining. On to book two!

Wonderful read!

I loved that the book took me to another place. There is a special quality this book possessed and it left me craving more. It's a fun read I simply devoured it. I'm looking forward to the others!

This book is right on par with Fifty Shades of Grey - poorly written, simple and ridiculous.
