Gorri has a imagination for writing the best shifter stories. A quick steamy read of fated mates that will keep you on your toes throughout the whole story. Hope there will be more dragons to come, for they are my favorite.

Gorri is back in the saddle bringing us another Falk clan book. Divines brother Nick is on the prowl for his mate and boy does he get a bundle of dynamite 🧨 with Minnie. I really liked her character. She was very strong willed and independent. She knew what she wanted and she wasn’t afraid of her desires. Some might look down on her for that but I applaud that. I’m glad we didn’t meet her family because they seemed like pure trash and very discriminatory. To label all humans as bad is just silly and no matter what that’s still your flesh and blood, your sister and she was hurting. If someone hurt my sister…. It’s on… plain and simple. But I’m old school 😉 and my values are a wee bit different than these beta males that let disrespecting women slide. I wonder if we will see Tiny and his crew in future books? 🤔 Gorri is sneaky like that. She will toss an interesting side character in there and boom shaloom they’re in the next book looking for love in all the “right”places 🤭 hehe (sorry Johnny Lee 😂). This book though was just awesome. Great lil novella for the holiday season. Gorri’s writing is always refreshing and gives me all that I need in one sitting. Romance, some action, comedy and rock solid family values and a love for community. But that’s Christine for you. If you haven’t read the Falk clan, please do. These emo 🖤 😘 brothers and clan members are truly amazing. I always tease and say emo but the books truly are stupendous. This grumpy bear gave this book 5 dragons 🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉. Minerva Lykos, wolf shifter and artist, has just found out her manager/boyfriend has been cheating on her and stealing from her. She is beyond angry! She has come home from New York City to her grandmother’s old house to lick her wounds and get her life back together. She didn’t realize how dilapidated the old house has gotten, which makes her even sadder, and when she steps on a nail sticking out of the carpet she loses I and starts bawling. When a huge, gorgeous man comes in and picks her up and cleans up her foot, she is shocked, but wow! She has no idea who this guy is but she likes what she sees. When she realizes he is a shifter of some kind and lives around there, she offers him a one- time deal. They can be each other’s plus one for the holidays so they don’t have to go to all the parties alone and maybe have some other fringe benefits too! When Nicholas meets Minerva for the first time, he knows immediately that she is his mate. But when she doesn’t seem to realize that and offers him the “plus one” deal, he takes it so that he will have time to “woo” her. This is such a cute and funny story! Minerva is totally clueless about her attraction to Nicholas, or maybe she just refuses to acknowledge it. She is a little bit crazy, funny and vivacious.
