Description

One week. No names. No expectations.

That was our agreement.

We were supposed to walk away once our time in Hawaii was over.

No matter what.

But that was before I finally decided to take a risk and jump.

And that’s precisely what being involved with Lachlan Hale is… A risk.

Between the complications that go along with dating a celebrity and the real possibility that my ex-husband is still watching my every move, there are times I question whether it’s worth it.

Whether I’m selfishly putting Lachlan’s life at risk, too.

But like he promised… We’ll get through it. Together.

Until the bottom drops in a way I never could have anticipated.

Lines are drawn.
Loyalties are tested.
And I’m stuck in the middle, engaged in a fierce battle between my head and my heart.

But there can only be one winner.

Provocation is the third book in the Temptation Series, a gripping older woman, younger man romantic suspense about the power of redemption and forgiveness.

The storyline is full of steamy and strong interaction between the well developed and entertaining characters. The storyline hooked me from the start. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Oh my…🤗😍 excellent writing! This story has me hooked 🎣 I cannot get enough of the twists and turns. She is a strong, self-made business woman, and single mom. On one of her business trips she meets a younger sexy man, who has his own demons. This is the 3rd book into their relationship, and it keeps getting better. I’m on the edge of my seat to read the epic conclusion to this serial killer who has tortured her most of her life. Will she finally be free, and will Lachlan be there with her?

Oh my goodness. Just when I thought the mystery and angst couldn’t get any higher, bam here it is, along with the love, passion and chemistry that is between Julia and Lachlan. Hold on to your seat because the ending is going to rock you and leave you dying for the rest of this phenomenal story!

T.K. Leigh has written has a very intriguing series. The Temptation series ends each book with a mind blowing cliffhanger. T.K. Leigh has a talent for writing cliffhangers that has me thinking about the story and all of the possibilities until the next book releases. The author has out done herself with Provocation. The ending was the epitome of shock and awe. The next book is going to be epic. I am happily hanging onto the cliff waiting for the next release. I sit in terror of what has been and what could possible be. This series has so much going for it. I love how the author brings positivity to the the older woman-younger man relationship. She illustrates the struggles. She shows how it can work if the couple want it to be something special. Julia and Lachlan can overcome if they standby each other. Provocation is a great reminder that abuse of any kind is not easy to ignore, easy to get over. Julia has been haunted for years after the emotional abuse of her husband, Nick. She lives with the guilt of what he did to other women. She lives with the memories and when a "copycat" comes on to the scene everything is dredged up all over again. Her strength is an inspiration. And yet, Julia still hides. She hides from love. She hides even from Lachlan, a man she has come to love. Her husband is still manipulating her and soon he will manipulate others. The story will have you jumping to conclusions and wanting to go back and start again to see what you missed. There are so many mind blowing developments in the story. I was hooked, thinking I had it all figured out only to discover I was as clueless as the F.B.I and detectives. The suspense has me going bonkers. Provocation was entertaining from the beginning to the very end. It was hard to put it down. I found myself putting off life so I could read just one more chapter.
