Enjoyed all the layers of the family dynamics. The intimate scenes were tastefully written.

Oh how I loved this book! Mary Balogh has a depth of character like no other writer! Buy this book! You won’t regret it or put it down!!!

Nice intro to the Ware family, and the second half had the piercing poignancy of her best novels.

I am so disappointed. I love her books but this one is written like the Huxtable series (which did NOT love) and is too wordy and descriptive. In the first 50 pages I think there was one line of dialogue. It is written and edited very differently from the Bedwyn, Simply, or Westcott books. I can’t finish it.
