So many observations in here speak to the current situation in the US and I’m glad Douglas calls out the race baiters.

We’re rotting from within. It’s the end of the empire. And we shouldn’t rejoice. As our internal critics focus on only the negatives of Western Culture and go so far a mis-categorize and mis-represent other aspects of western culture to the cultures detriment. This book reminds of all the good of western culture that could be lost. It’s difficult to walk away from this book without the realization the the goal of those detractors is nothing less than the destruction of western culture.

Cultural, brave, ironically obvious at times, and beautifully written.
