OMG… seriously this book—it gave me all the feels! I loved this rom-com that is an emotionally charged enemies to lovers, slow-burn tension with all its angst, drama, witty banter, and push and pull. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page-turning story. Claudia Burgoa writes with a warmth so palpable her characters steal their way into your heart and remains for a long time. Nathalie Brennan and Fisher (Fish) Hannigan will undoubtedly pull on your heartstrings, but Fisher’s baby son, Keaghan, changes everything. Fisher is a musician who is the keyboardist for the band, Too Far From Grace as well as a member of a secret organization. While his band is on a hiatus, Fisher is helping his friend Manelik in the small town of Luna Harbor. Nathalie is a medical doctor who works in the ER, but she gets an opportunity to do something different by taking over her grandfather’s medical practice in Luna Harbor. When she meets Fisher, whose reputation precedes him as a flirt, arrogant and philandering playboy, a heartbreaker, and a billionaire who goes after who he wants. Right now, he wants—Nathalie. From the first day they met, they’ve been enemies—until they weren’t. Fisher and Nathalie’s unexpected attraction for each other is so intense, but the chemistry like the one they have can only be denied for so long. Their battle of wits is tremendously fun—acerbic and sexy and filled with tension. Everything about Fisher and Nathalie seemed too good to be true, but none of that mattered until a situation turns Nathalie’s idyllic life upside down. What will Nathalie do now? Find out what happened—what a conundrum! If FUN is what you are after, look no further—read PERFECTLY YOU. Their journey is intoxicatingly quirky, perfectly paced, and all around fun. This is a book I can reread over and over again. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance

Perfectly You is the second book in the Luna Harbor series. Although this is a stand alone, I would recommend reading book one so you are familiar with the crossover characters. This book packs a punch and will make you laugh, angry and cheering for an HEA. Nathalie is done..just done, frustrated and ready for a fresh start. She is a strong, independent and feisty woman who is on a mission to get away from her family’s demands. Fisher is on hiatus from touring with his band and “secret assignment”. He is a flirty, a great caretaker of others and generous person. He has baggage from his past that’s about to rear it’s ugly head. There is great distain between Nathalie and Fisher..but they realize they need to lean on each other to get through the current upheaval on both of their lives. The banter between these two is so fun and entertaining. There are side characters in this book that will infuriate you, twist and turns that you don’t see coming and a wonderful HEA. Congratulations on another wonderful book Claudia! I received a complimentary copy and I am providing my honest review.

Their fears and insecurities. This book addresses the real fears of Fisher and Nat. Nats been cheated on and betrayed and is starting over. Fisher is a man child playing at life. That was all fine, but what didn’t work for me was Fishers kid suddenly being dropped into Nat’s life. His FWB leaves him with a baby and that’s just not my jam, when his new love internet is literally left holding the baby. Aside from that the characters have some growth and angst and still hook up.
