Excellent reading thought it was going to be boring due to it being about the 1900’s but I was wrong. It wasn’t to Romancy just right
Best read!

This was a great book. It was informative and very interesting. Ms. Brown is an excellent writer and keeps you i nvolved in her books from start to finish. One of my favorite writers.
Slow for no good reason

The book had stereotypic characters and dragged on. Maybe it was the small town atmosphere that required the slow development and had me drowsy. Period pieces are hard to get right and this was no exception. The few action sequences were too drawn out and not thrilling.
