Colton - Leaving New York for a job in Kentucky, Grace is looking for a fresh start. She has an immediate connection with her new boss and Gloria, the office manager. What she doesn’t anticipate is the warm welcome she receives from the rest of the large Green family, especially Colton. Initially, Grace doesn’t seem to be his type, but quickly he rethinks his earlier expectations. Then there is Grace’s temporary landlady - my goodness! What an old stick in the mud!!! Gunner & his sis, Mackenzie, expose a compassionate side of Grace that was unexpected by all except her employer! As additional characters in the small town are introduced, I got a real sense of small town connections., and the potential for other stories. One little item that caught my eye, Grace’s ex left her bcoz his girlfriend was expecting. She apologized to Colton bcoz she wouldn’t be able to give him children. The ex’s gf lied - not pg. So I won’t be surprised if Grace & Colton have a whole string of little Greens!!! Can’t wait for volume 2 !!!
