Sweet emotional romance
By Doodlebugscmi
Montana Cowboy Daddy is the third book in the Wyatt Brothers of Montana Series. I have read the previous books and enjoyed them as much. The Wyatt family is very much the epitome of a loving and loyal. While each brother has their own interests, they will never hesitate to be there for each other. From the first book, the loyalty, love, and camradarie are present. Add a strong, protective, loving grandfather with mother who will except nothing but respect and strong ideals. I truly adored this family. I especially loved the closeness.
Billy is a rodeo champ. He has been very successful in his career and has a strong financial standing to help when he finally retires. Unfortunately, Billy has no plans to retire anytime soon. He plans on a rodeo career for as long as he can. Nothing will come in the way of that. Especially not finding out he is a father. Billy was a great character. I respected how he was determined to be a father as well as continuing his rodeo career. At first, Billy wasn't going to make compromises but he soon realized he had to make some changes. If he wanted to be the best father he could be, Billy would have to stop thinking of only himself. He was very lucky to have Erika on the road with him so she could care for his son. At the beginning, Billy took Erika for granted although I don't feel it was intentional. He was just so used to living footloose and fancy free. Watching his character grow and mature was one of my favorite aspects of the story.
The chemistry between Erika and Billy is strong from the beginning but neither acted on their feelings believing that they should just focus on baby Beck. I don't want to spoil any of this story for you but I will tell you the whole story in itself is a slow build to an incredible ending.
There is a bit of a hint that has me very curious as to how Tommy's story will go. I already feel like it will be emotional. If you are a fan of Montana cowboys, strong heroines, and emotional romances, I recommend this series. The books can be read in any order but I believe your reading experience will be more rewarding if you start with book one.
While I received a review copy from Tule Publishing, this is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it. :)
