I just loved Bea and Austin, they were such a wonderful couple even though Bea wanted to deny any kind of relationship with Austin because of his age. Bea was told as a child how being like her mother was not good for her and would lead her down the wrong path. This caused Bea to deny her artistic side and then deny any relationship with Austin because he was quite younger than her. Unfortunately her heart couldn’t deny what her brain was telling her because Austin was everything she could have wanted for herself. I seriously loved how these two were together, Bea was so serious and stressed in her former L.A. life that when she showed up in Credence and met Austin she needed someone that showed her how to enjoy life. Even though Austin was younger than her he never acted immature or like he was younger and I think that helped Bea enjoy her life in Credence and realize that was the life that made her happy. This was a wonderful addition to the Credence series but can I just say I am desperately waiting for Arlo and Winona’s story!

Omg! I absolutely loved this story. My entire body was one giant throb as all my senses flicked on like switches, humming in anticipation. Drooling, pulse pounding, giggling, sighing, swallowing, and laughing out loud as I ate up every word in Amy Andrews steamy descriptions. The heat between these two main characters was sizzling and I had to close my eyes at times from melting into a puddle. And oh my, I will never look at pie the same again! This younger man/ older woman trope grabbed me from the start!! So full of fun, wit and sizzle in this fantastic laugh-out-loud romantic comedy. Beatrice Archer is 35 years old and has just quit her LA job as an advertising executive after she was once again overlooked for a promotion to a less qualified man. Tired of playing it by the book, working long hours, having no life and dealing with her family’s expectations, she decides to throw a dart at a map and moves to Credence Colorado. She had come to Credence to be a different kind of Beatrice. To break all the rules that have been holding her back from living her best life. After holding up for two long weeks binging Netflix and eating carbs in her room, she decides to make a run to the local diner wearing her bunny slippers, her new day of the week underwear and sweats. And that is when she meets him Austin Cooper. “Speaking of a hunger that had been building from the moment he’d ma’amed her and bloomed with every smile, every piece of pie, every Beatriss. And in that instant she knew that just touching him was never going to be enough.” Austin Cooper is a 25 year old policeman happy with his life in his hometown of Credence living on a ranch and being on the police force. He’s charming, a little bit cowboy, and a whole lot sexy. The sparks fly between them and he is all in. Her laughter and company seep into his heart and his soul. Their relationship is full of witty banter, friendship, pie and sizzling, spicy times. But although Austin is all in, Beatrice is still skittish about the age gap romance, her uncertain future and about her place in the world. Will Bea realize what she has before it is too late? Or will she give it all up for success? You will need to read to get all sizzling details. And believe me you Do Not want to miss this one!!!! I voluntarily requested an early copy and this is my honest review.

Have you ever read a book and were sad that you finished? I loved this book and adored the two main characters, Beatrice Archer and Austin Cooper. This is part of the Credence, Colorado series. Bea has given her life to the advertising agency she worked for in LA. When she is passed over for a promotion for a less competent man, she quits and decides to lick her wounds wherever her dart lands on the map, which happens to be Credence, Colorado. Bea decides to do everything that she would never do in her past neat, orderly life including eating all the pie, drinking beer for breakfast and dating a man 10 years her junior. Austin is 25 and a Sheriff in Credence. What can I say about Austin, but I loved his character! He is a great guy, and is immediately smitten with Bea, despite her disheveled appearance. I loved their development from friends to more, despite Bea’s misgivings with the whole age difference. This is an enjoyable series, and I cannot wait for the next book in the series (please let it be Arlo and Winona!). I received an arc of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
