James Carr delivers pulse-pounding suspense and excitement in a coherent story packed with details. His writing treats the reader like a “tag along” buddy. The series too is very good.

Could not finish

Happened to buy the 5th book at an airport in a hurry and now I’m reading them all. They’re great man.

Great novel…technically accurate on the portrayal of military special operations forces.

James will get them. He goes after everyone in this book. It’s on the DARKER side of the series. But still worth it.

4.5 - plot was not as strong as previous James Reece plots. Overall great read!

Jack Carr / James Reece. This man will have you hooked. I have already got 3 people hooked into the story.

I love the knowledge of special opps throughout. Suspense is awesome. I’m looking forward to seeing more in the James Reece series.

The attention to details both big and small, coupled with a new and unpredictable plot keeps me awake way past my bedtime - Stroud Evans (BU2)

I have not read a book in well over 15 years for whatever reason. I just finished Savage Son, the third in this series, and now plan on reading number 4. I’m hooked and hope all,of these are made into something we can watch like “The Terminal List.”
