This book is amazing! I teach middle school ELA. I read the book in one sitting; I couldn’t put it down. I’d love to be able to buy a set of this book to read with my 6th grade students!

Working with kids who are growing up with real adversity, I’m always amazed at those young souls who can still find the good in life everyday. The Boy Who Painted the World is a delightful story of one such child. It’s a real lesson in rising above life’s circumstances while trusting kindness and choosing happiness.

This is a great story; I enjoyed it as an adult, but it is very appropriate for about ten and up to read alone, and maybe a little younger as a story to read to/with them. It’s about the power of art, and you only wish it could be true.

I would never have anticipated a book would be so perfectly suited for our family to read together! 10-year-old boy meets art and a family miracle. Yep. That’s our lives! Don’t know how Melody got a hold of our script (Hey! Is she spying on us...?!) but we’re super grateful she wrote this version of something so very close to our story!
