The story is interesting and funny. I loved all the misunderstandings and how they were resolved. The author adds humor into this interesting historical novel.

The book itself was written well, the plot line flowed nicely. However, in my opinion, the characters themselves felt juvenile. It felt more as if I were reading about 15 and 16 year olds than adults. Still a good read and a sweet story though.

Good New authors are always fun to find. I think I’ll read more from this one.

This book sucked me right in. It was twisted with unexpected turns. I loved Ashton & Millies story. I was glad it had a epilogue. My first book with this author. On to my next. David & Clarice. Giving 4 stars because it took forever for them to get together. Not rushed. Would like them to have more happiness then hurt.

I liked the story. It was m quite moving and entertaining. It kept my attention all the way through.

This was a excellent book! It is funny and a page turner.
