I found myself crushing through this book because it was the only one I took on vacation. You know how you finish a good book in a day or two because you can’t stop reading? This isn’t one of those. The characters are dull, the relationships between them don’t ring true, the ambient background tuff is just words on paper. Add to that the blatant inconsistencies and shallow motives, and you’ve got yourself a real dud.
