Far to much butchery. The point and plot could have been developed with half the gore. Seems like the author could not go far enough to make the bad guy really bad. Then there is the fantasy showdown with a bunch of new guys showing up. In creative writing 101, they would discuss the new hero bursting on to the scene to save the day. It was a bad technique used to get the author off the hook for his ending. Toooo much of a bad thing. I would not spend a farthing on reading this.
