Bachelor for Hire was a great start to the new Bachelor Auction series. Cody Matthews and Haley O' Malley were high school friends until she got scared and left town to become a movie star while Cody joined the Army. 11 years later Haley returns to town to take care of her grandmas house after her death. When a threatening note shows up on her porch she goes running to Cody for help. When he refuses her she decides to take a more drastic approach. I loved this book from start to finish. The characters were heartwarming. I would definitely recommend this book.

Cody Matthews has been home 5 months when Hayley O'Malley comes to his uncles ranch to ask for his help. After turning her down she bids on him at the Bachelor Auction.When a few things happen Cody takes Hayley out of town for their date where she wants to learn to ride a horse and for him to teach her to defend herself.With the help off some people in town trying to push them together will they trust each other with their hearts to not get them broke again. Really enjoyed this story .

Cody Matthews has returned to Marietta, Montana searching for his next steps in life. For the time being he is helping his Uncle on his ranch while he desperately tries to stay away from Hayley, who has just returned to Marietta and asks for his help. Hayley is a Hollywood Oscar winner who comes back to Marietta to deal with the death of her grandmother. While in town, she is being targeted and asks her high school love to keep her safe. Cody initially refuses to help her, trying to stay away from the memories she brings with her of their last time together, back in his Uncle’s barn in high school. During a bachelor auction to raise funds for a rooftop helipad for the local hospital, Hayley bids $10,000 for a weekend with Cody. They both quickly realize the sparks are still there all these years later. This was a romantic, enjoyable quick read. Hayley and Cody are a cute couple and you knew instantly they belonged together. I love the little plot twist regarding who really is stalking Hayley. I enjoyed this book and look forward to book #2 in the series.

I was so excited to see the return of Bachelor Auction to Marietta, Montana. Our first bachelor, is exmarine, Cody and his high school sweetheart, Hayley. Hayley left Marietta to become a movie star, she has now returned home and feels her life is threatened. She wins the bid on Cody, so now he can be her bodyguard. Will the sparks still be there between them? A fun sexy read with a bit of a mystery, that I highly recommend. Looking forward to the rest of the Bachelor books!

I'm so glad we get to have another bachelor auction in Marietta. This was a nice story. Hayley and Cody had a past, but she took off quickly and became a rising star in Hollywood. Cody moved on as well, but they couldn't forget each other. Hayley is back in town to handle some personal matters and her grandmother's house, and her friend drags her to the bachelor auction. She decides to buy Cody to try to force him to spend time with her since he blew her off earlier. Hayley and Cody were cute together. It was fun seeing some other Marietta residents that we hadn't really gotten to know before. This was a nice quick read.

Hayley isn't one to give up. She ends up with the winning bid in the Marietta Bachelor Auction for Cody. Now, Cody is obligated to spend one weekend with her. Due to the threats that Hayley is receiving they end up alone in a remote cabin for their weekend date. Will Cody be able to resist Hayley? The is a cute and sexy second chance romance.
