This is the second dog training book I’ve read so far. The techniques he uses make so much sense to me and they are simple and straightforward. The book is even entertaining to read and not dry like the other book I read. I started reading because we want to add another dog to our family and I like the idea of rescuing a shelter dog. What I realized was how much I could have been doing with our 12 year old dog that we already have. I have applied some of his techniques and I have bonded more with our “stubborn and difficult to train” dog more in the last month than I have in the last 11 years we have had him. Highly recommend.

I have used most of these techniques on several of my own rescues and they have worked wonders!! Thank you Brandon for giving me the insights to make life easier for me, my rescues and our guests.

Excellent book…Easy to read and understand…Who knew that a bottle of coins could be such an important training tool! Thank you Brandon for reminding us to be patient and calm while training and to love our "trainees" as unconditionally as they love us. If there is to be a second book, I will look forward to reading it.
